Mixed and poured by hand, our tables are assembled and sealed with a specialized highly protective coating, which makes the surface non-absorbent and spill resistant. The table can also be used outdoors. And as any natural material, it is recommended to be placed under covered area where there is no standing water. Slight variations in size and color are due to the use of natural materials and to the handmade nature of our products – each is unique. After graduating from the Aeronautical and Automobile Industries, he taught industrial design in Paris, then worked as an engineer in La Rochelle. He was called up for compulsory labor in Germany in 1943, but refused to comply. He returned to Paris and joined Matra Aviation. Passionate about freedom and the plastic arts, it was in 1949 that he decided to abandon aeronautics. He learns the art of ceramics in various Parisian workshops. At home, he starts by creating jewels and lamps, then he imagines a decorative and utilitarian ceramic in small workshops in Paris and Auxon, then in Indre et Loire. His craft production is limited to the small series to the unique piece confined to animal grails, Noah's ark or interstellar vehicles, which are not without reminding the spirit of his beginnings in aeronautics.
