This exceptional set by Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche from the fall/winter collection of 1979-80 is to be found on every YSL-collector's wishlist. Especially when it comes with the matching skirt. It is very hard to come across and generally the Ikat woven jacket is in poor condition or has been heavily attacked by some moth. That's why it is rather unique how well this jacket has been maintained. There are no visible signs of age and wear; the striking colors pop out like they have been dyed today; the original black buttons shine like never before. I have never seen one better preserved in my collecting years.
