Ormond Gigli is a highly regarded American photojournalist, best known for his breathtaking portraiture and surreal fashion photography. With a career spanning over four decades, Gigli's visual narratives have appeared in prominent international publications such as TIME, LIFE, Paris Match, and Colliers.
Gigli began his journey in the 1950s, gaining recognition for his captivating photographs of theater, film, and dance. Will Adler is a 38 year old west coast photographer known for his distinctive take on the surf world. Adler's laid back, light infused images, (as often of women surfers as men) convey the spirit and atmosphere of place as much as the action of the sport and have earned him a cult following in surfing and photography circles. For his summer show at Danziger Gallery, Adler is showing pictures from Hawaii, California, and Montauk shot for himself and for magazines such as Juxtapoz, Neon, Surfer, WAX, and The New Yorker, His commercial clients have included Quiksilver, Patagonia, Nike, and Hixsept.

Charlie Ahearn, best known as the director of the classic hip-hop film Wild Style (1982), arrived in New York in 1973 to attend the Whitney Museum of American Art Independent Study Program. Later he was joined by his twin brother, John Ahearn, and they became part of the artists' group Colab (aka Collaborative Projects, Inc).

Artist's Bio:
As a visual artist, Roberta Fineberg (RF) focuses on the themes of serendipity, inventiveness, and the development of ideas for her photography, video, installations, works on paper, and painting. Drawn to experimentation, she explores diverse mediums and concepts such as the ephemeral (Butterfly Series), stolen moments (documentary photography), play, timelessness, the enduring, and the significance of matter.
RF, living in New York City, began her career as an editorial photographer while studying in Paris. In France she contributed both photography and writing to publications, landing a column (photos and text) with The Saturday Review while exhibiting photographs in public spaces. Roberta Fineberg’s freelance photography appeared in Le Monde, Jeune Afrique, Paris Match, L’Officiel Femme, Ms, Weltwoche, Vanguardia, among others with images licensed through stock agencies. Photographs were selected for cover art at W.W. Norton, St. Martin’s Press, Harcourt, Bookspan, Simon & Schuster, etc. Print Regional Design Annual New York (2003) awarded her for book jacket photography for If Wishes Were Horses. In 1997 Macmillan published City Riders: A Story of Riding and Friendship her first book of black-and-white photographs and a story about three teenage girls in the 1990s who rode horses at the now-defunct Claremont Riding Academy and oldest stable in New York City.
In 2023, RF created an interactive installation, works on paper on the female body, in a public space. In July 2022, Fineberg’s Double Helix was included in a Sotheby’s auction in New York City and exhibited in the preview show Contemporary Discoveries. Photographer Anne Menke occupies the unique realm where high fashion meets bohemian travel and a free spirit. Her editorial work exudes a sense of glamour often amidst a backdrop of far flung, exotic locales. Menke has photographed couture on the mountains of Peru and beauty contests on the plains of Mongolia. Her eye for the authentic-- somehow she's an insider wherever she goes-- has informed her campaigns for clients including Tommy Hilfiger, Nine West, Keds, Clarins, L’Oreal, Aveda, Banana Republic, Ralph Lauren, Macy’s, J. Crew, Nike, Wrangler and Hush Puppies . Menke was born in Germany and has lived and worked in London, Paris, and New York City. Currently, she splits her time between New York City and Sayulita, Mexico where she surfs and chartered a green school, The Costa Verde International school project. Mexico is also the perfect base for her frequent photography excursions. In 2001 Menke published a photography book "Our New York" in conjunction with Tommy Hilfiger. “Meatyard searched continually for a non-objective art that would be wordless poetry, spontaneous music without sound. The ‘Motion-Sound’ pictures of his later years brought Meatyard’s passion for music and, paradoxically, the silence of Zen Buddhism together in photography. In creating the series, he focused the camera on a natural scene (or one containing plain rural architecture) and then moved it slightly. The result of this action is an image that suggests sound while abstracting natural forms. The landscapes of the ‘Motion-Sound’ series are in stark contrast to the evocative, more traditional views of the Red River Gorge that Meatyard was executing during the same years.”
