Born in Stuttgart, Germany, André Rau has always had a strong inclination towards the visual arts from young age. From Germany, André moved to Paris and begun his formal training in photography assisting Peter Lindbergh. With a remarkable path, today André is acknowledged as among the most established beauty and fashion photographers of our time.
Diverse and inspiring, his imagery covers a variety of impressive material. However, André is internationaly renowned for his insightful and powerful celebrity portraits.
