Decorated with an elegant design of delicate blue cornflower sprigs, this soup tureen was made by Arras Porcelain in Arras, France, in the late 18th century.
The cornflower sprigs, handles, and border edging are decorated with beautiful deep twilight blue enamel.
The makers of Arras Porcelain specialized in porcelain painted in this entrancing blue called "Bleu d'Arras."
The color of the porcelain body is creamy white.
The combination of the creamy white ground and the blue decoration is splendid.
Natural forms like the tree branch handle and the blue cornflower decorations were the height of French fashion in the last quarter of the 18th century.
Made at the Arras porcelain factory of the Delemers family circa 1780, the tureen and its stand are marked in underglaze blue.

Condition: Excellent, with some hard-to-see rubbing to the clear glaze on the stand

The beautiful rare English porcelain Bone China plates depict a pattern found on Chinese Export porcelain and were most likely made as replacements. The pattern depicts a boy on a buffalo in a Chinese landscape with polychrome colors particularly green. A band of orange ribbon is painted around the rim.

Circa 1775.
The First Period Worcester porcelain teacup and saucer has a reeded French shape and is richly decorated with the Holly Berry pattern- a variation of the Hop Trellis pattern. Panels of purple plants alternate with berried foliage between borders of lilac diaper and gold herringbone and a lower border of white pearls on a bright turquoise ground. There are gilt dentil rims and the inside of the cup has flowers and berried sprigs below a gold band.
Dimensions: Overall: 2 3/8 inches high x 5 1/4 inches wide; Saucer: 5 1/4 inch diameter x 1 inch high; Cup: 1 7/8 inches high x 4 inches wide x 3 3/8 inches deep. (overall 6.033 cm high x 13.34 cm wide)

A fine antique Nymphenburg porcelain figurine.
Entitled "Der Gestörte Schlummer", which translates to English as "The Disturbed Slumber".
After the 18th Century Frankenthal Porcelain model modeled by Johann Friedrich Lück.
Depicting a sleeping gallant attended to (and being awakened by) two maidens. The gallant is sleeping on patches of grass that are supported by a stylized Rococo rocaille base.
