About the Item

Anatoly Kost Triptych “Aftertaste of the Aroma of Sakura” 2019y. Canvas.Oil. Painting Flat: 70/190 cm Framed: 74/202 cm Triptych “Aftertaste of the Aroma of Sakura” is a transformation of music on canvas, so it is accompanied by: Visiomix - Salvatore Adamo "Tombe la neige". "Snow that will never melt." All works of fine art are inspired by the author's Japanese culture, as Kost was an invited artist at a major Japanese exhibition. Each painting of the Triptych contains the time of day: "At noon" 2019y. Canvas.Oil. Painting Flat: 70/60 cm. Framed: 74/64 cm. We see noon. At this hour of the day, the sun warms the most and under the flame of the Sakura garden, they reveal their aromas. The details of the painting should guide the viewer to their own ref "A night of flavors" 2019y. Canvas.Oil. Painting Flat: 70/70 cm. Framed: 74/74 cm. The very name "Night of flavors" already tells the viewer about the intention of the picture. The night is the time when all the senses are sharpened with the onset of darkness. Listening to Salvatore Adamo's "Tombe la neige" and looking at the painting, we feel the taste of cold frost and the smell of Sakura, which is about to bloom after the winter frosts. The gray tones in the picture are like a taste on the tongue, a taste of rawness. "Sunset" 2019y. Canvas.Oil. Painting Flat: 70/60 cm. Framed: 74/64 cm. Looking at the picture, we see a more muted tone, but there are also colorful hieroglyphs. It is such a combination of shades, along with listening to the composition "Tombe la neige", the viewer should feel the soft smell of sakura with a slight feeling of winter coolness at sunset. The Triptych "Aftertaste of the Aroma of Sakura" was presented at the exhibition in the National Art Museum of Ukraine. The artist adheres to the concept of the process of transmuting the energy of abstract art into the energy of music or choreography and vice versa, emphasizing their mutual polyphonic nature. Masterpieces of world musical classics and choreography are a significant factor in the inspiration of his work, which became the basis for defining a personal philosophical direction in abstraction, namely contemp-abstraction (a plastic representation of his inner state). Anatoliy Kost used the slogan ArtHouse abstraction (derived from ArtHouse cinema) as a category of artistic form of communication with the viewer, through the formalization of the concept of Viѕiozong (a composition of several works), as an illustrated accompaniment to a musical or choreographic action.
