Bernard Lorjou
La Carpe, Fish on Table Still Life

In the tradition of Van Gogh, Picasso, Soutine and Buffet, Lorjou has a strong identity as an artist. This expressive and painterly still life of a fish would be a masterful addition to any kitchen or dining area. Dubbed “the French Picasso” in an article from Sur in 1969, Lorjou’s work went through a series of transformations and the constant being the power and impact of his images. Lorjou’s works are exhibited and collected around the world, namely in France and the United states.
