Mid Century Palm Springs Desert and Mountains Landscape Painting
Vibrant Palm Springs, California desert landscape by Alice Spoonemore (American, 1888-1956), circa 1950. Iconic red mountains of Palm Springs meet desert with sand and sagebrush along dirt road that leads to base of mountains. The mountain's palette knife work adds texture and depth against blended sky and the desert landscape. The vibrant aqua-hued sky with wispy clouds complete a pleasing desert scene.
Signed "Alice Spoonemore" lower left.
