Bart DeCeglie
Morning Meadow, original 36x40 contemporary impressionist floral landscape

About the Item

Nature's mystery displays itself exquisitely in this contemporary impressionist morning meadow resplendent with wildflowers. The pinks and magentas, shades of greens and blues and bleached out grasses adjacent to red and orange flowers just starting to bloom are grounded by an emerald green backdrop which seems to be guarding the privacy of the floral beds. Popular artist Bart DeCeglie, Italian by birth, has used his keen eye to create a cornucopia of timeless florals. He has extended the canvas with a 1.5" gallery wrapping further speaking to the scale and endless flower beds. Further, he uses impressionistbrush and knife strokes with impasto paints to ensure he relays living, self perpetuating flowers. Now living and painting primarily in New York, artist Bart DeCeglie studied at both Pratt Institute and the Phoenix School of Art and Design before returning to Pratt Institute as an adjunct professor. His many years of painting, teaching and using classic impressionist strokes with impasto ensure the authenticity of his floral landscapes. DeCeglie has also taught at both New York's Fashion Institute of Technology and the National Art League when not at easel. DeCeglie original oil paintings are sought after by buyers nationally of all ages.

Along the Maine Coast, original 30x34 impressionist marine landscape
By James McGinley
Located in Spring Lake, NJ
Along the Maine coast, the surf can be turbulent, the tide ferocious, the skies exquisite, the rocks unyielding. In this original marine landscape you can feel the roll of the waves, hear them pounding upon the rock wall, and actually see the changing colors of the shadows as the sun begins it's dramatic descent. The white of the waves contrasts with the purple sky in fantastic contrast to the multi-tonal stone that both catches the sun and it's prisms and the mossy green penetration of the unrelenting wave action.
