Eugene MaziarzFloral Reflections I, original 40 x 38 French impressionist floral landscape
About the Item
On a bright, sun kissed morning at the pond where the multi-colored irises are bigger than life, the floral reflections in the landscape mesmerise you as you sort out the fantasy that is tickling you into a jpyous yet restful state of mind. The white and baby blue cotton candy clouds lends a nurtured feeling while the red, yellow, orange, green and blue ribbon candy foliage and florals leaves you feeling splendid indeed! Polish American artist Eugene Maziarz uses a variety of impressionist brush and palette knife strokes in combination with impasto layers of oil paint to add texture and dimension to his unfolding composition. Carrying forward the contemporary feeling of his subject matter, Maziarz custom made his own white frame to finish the piece. Prior to migrating to the United States, Maziarz was appointed, by the Ministry Committee of Culture of Warsaw, Poland, a member of the prestigious Polish Organization of Artists; while still a resident of Poland, Maziarz also distinguished himself by teaching art at some of the leading Polish universities. He is now a full time artist showing and selling his unique works across America from Napa Valley to Philadelphia as well as abroad.

- The Mill, First Slaughter, original impressionist English landscapeBy John Phillip OsborneLocated in Spring Lake, NJKnown for it's timeless charm, the quaint Cotswolds of England are what dreams are made of. First Slaughter, Upper and Lower Slaughter adjacent to Bourton-on-the-Water are such places! The Eye Brook weaves through the Slaughters, affectionately known as "the Slaughter;" the name was derived from the local marsh rather than what one might otherwise expect! This original impressionist landscape exemplifies the historical importance of the mill in these hamlets as well as the warm and inviting feeling of the region of Cotswolds, England. Also exemplifying the English countryside in this original impressionist landscape are the thatched rooves, architecture, rugged terraine and locals lingering, all seemingly frozen in time! Legendary artist John Phillip Osborne, applying many of the principles of the Barbizon school of art painters as well as classic impressionism, was the leading instructor of the highly regarded Ridgewood Art Institute of New Jersey for more than thirty four years. Osborne taught a generation of his students to go beyond the obvious in portraying their subject matter in a composition striving to capture the genuine overall feeling of the moment. He had graduated with honors from Pratt Institute of NYC and then continued his studies at the Art Students League, also of NYC. Original Osborne oil paintings...Category
