Beautiful plein air oil painting of Bay Area mountains in autumn by Charles Eades (American, 1949-2009) 1964. Vibrant red and orange shrubs punctuate the foreground with rocks. In the background, pink and tan mountains rise up to meet a cloud-filled sky. This painting is well balanced in composition on striking in appearance.

Mr. Eades was born April 14, 1949, in San Jose, California. He was a graduate of Westmont High School in Campbell, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at California College of the Arts in Oakland, and a Master of Fine Arts degree at Mills College in Oakland.
