Smoky Quartz is one of the original ceramic series. Created using alcohol inks on individual tiles, then backed, mounted and framed in a real wood base ready to hang in your space. The ceramic series pieces are great for something a little different in the home, each individually created, these tonal artworks fit easily in any space. 30cm x 42cm Original signed.
Elycia-Marie, artist and painter, has abstract artworks available online and in our gallery at Wychwood Art. For as long as Elycia can remember, she has had a passion for the arts. Painting and creating has been a part of her life since she was child, so choosing to study the arts at University was a natural step for her. After working in fashion and navigating the twists and turns of a fast-paced industry, it didn’t take Elycia-Marie long to find herself back where she felt she belonged; creating her own artwork. As an abstract artist, Elycia-Marie loves to experiment. For her, the most exciting part of the process is the curiosity of creating a piece. Playing with colour, texture and pushing boundaries with each piece of work is where she truly flourishes. Elycia loves testing the balance of colour, building upon layers and finding that emotion in every individual piece of work.

Artist Biography
Qiu Ting was born 1971 in Luhe, Guangdong province. In 1992, he enrolled in the traditional Chinese painting department of China Academy of Art to study landscape painting,and graduated with a master's degree in 2000. In 2004, he earned his doctorate in fine arts from Tsinghua University. He is presently vice-president in the traditional Chinese painting department of Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing, China.
