About the Item
A homestead with seemingly endless fields of flowers in an eternal spring has been the fantasy of not only the legendary French Impressionists but of humanity. This original contemporary landscape comes alive as the sun washed flowers, with their alluring combination of yellow, pink, red, blues and greens, grab your attention and nurtures your appreciation of nature's beauty at hand. Polish American artist Eugene Maziarz adds a gentle stillness but with a hint of a breeze to his French impressionist oil painting using his impasto paint application. Prior to migrating to the United States, Maziarz was appointed, by the Ministry Committee of Culture of Warsaw, Poland, a member of the prestigious Polish Organization of Artists; while still a resident of Poland, Maziarz taught art at some of the leading Polish universities as well. Maziarz continues to explore new techniques to best represent his subject matter but living here in the United States. His love of oil painting is unwavering and infectious as his joyous works grace homes across the United States as well as abroad.
