Italian painter Giuseppe Leoni was born in Catania. He studied at the Genoa Academy with Tullio Salvatore Quinzio and at the Milan School of the Fine Arts. His painting Spring Day was exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 1914, and he also showed at the Rome Secession. His paintings (Rear View of a House) are in the Milan Society of the Fine Arts and a landscape in the Modern Art Gallery of Milan.
