About the Item
There are few of nature's creation that rival a sunset serenade, when the colors of marigold, goldenrod, peach, apricot and ruby red succumb to violet and purple and midnight blue as far as the eye can see and the imagination can conceive! In this original impressionist marine landscape artist Laura Paray uses impasto to accentuate the elements of sea and rock with reflected light to reaffirm the magic to behold! The black and white juxtaposed in the form of crashing waves upon the getty and a breathtaking drama to the composition. Paray offers a timeless quality to the oil painting, satisfying the wish that such beauty will be here in perpetuity. Paray earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University followed by nearly ten years of instruction at the highly regarded Ridgewood Art Institute of New Jersey and a year at the famed Art Students League of NYC. Paray is a multi-award winning artist who has shown her work in juried shows throughout the northeast USA including the Salmagundi Club, Oil Painters of America and the American Artist Professional League. Paray framed her oil painting in a custom plein air frame with a contemporary profile for hanging in either a traditional or transitional space; as framed this work of fine art is 30x36.
