The brand name "LU" is subtly featured within the composition, serving as both an emblem of quality and a reminder of the product behind the sentiment.
Alphonse Mucha (1860–1939) was a Czech-born artist and a central figure of the Art Nouveau movement. Renowned for his decorative style, he became internationally famous through his iconic posters for the actress Sarah Bernhardt and for commercial clients across Europe. Mucha’s work is characterized by its flowing lines, ornate patterns, and idealized female figures, all of which are evident in this beautifully balanced composition.
