About the Item

St Pauls, Pop Art Pink By Michael Wallner [2020] limited_edition Brushed aluminium Edition number 25 Image size: H:66 cm x W:91 cm Complete Size of Unframed Work: H:66 cm x W:91 cm x D:0.3cm Sold Unframed Please note that insitu images are purely an indication of how a piece may look St Paul’s Cathedral, one of my favourite buildings in London, built by Sir Christopher Wren between 1675 and 1710. It’s incredible that it has survived so much over the years and still retained its beauty, standing proudly as the modern skyscrapers spring up around it. Its ornate design and stunning shape make the cathedral the perfect subject for my art. This piece is created from an original photograph, digitally coloured, and printed on a small sheet of brushed aluminium. Printing on metal makes the colours even more vivid. Using the bright pink shows the cathedral's iconic shape, contrasting against the yellow. St Paul’s (pop art pink) is made to order. It can usually be created and delivered in around 10-14 days.
