About the Item
Cool print by Stik based on the gigantic 7 stories mural called the Migrant that he painted in NYC in 2017.
Inspired by the name of the street of the mural location, Avenue of The Immigrants.
Stik painted the figure peeking around the corner in the image to evoke a feeling of nervousness but with hope.
Print was released on July 2017 by the gallery on the occasion of his solo exhibition there.
Hand signed by Stik on bottom right of print in pencil.
Limited edition numbered from edition of 10 marked in pencil on lower left. 10 AP's were also made.
These prints were originally issued framed by the gallery as pictured.
The print has been removed from frame for inspection and stored flat.
Print will be shipped flat unframed. The original frame will also be sent to the purchaser in separate package. We recommend new professional framing using archival materials.
Pigment print in colors on Archival Rag Paper. The paper is heavy like card.

Stik
Stik is a British graffiti artist known for his signature stick figures. He started painting graffiti in 2001 and his work first appeared on the streets of London in the early 2000s. Stik's art is instantly recognizable and he uses elementary visual forms to quickly and easily convey his messages for social change. He is anonymous and his identity is largely unknown to the public. Stik's artwork evokes empathy on a fundamental level and is both physically and intellectually accessible to anyone. He is committed to bringing awareness to social issues and his legacy is expected to transcend his generation.
