A love of craft, shared by designer and client, from this room in a soulful Hamptons getaway created by the young female partnership of Amanda Jesse and Whitney Parris-Lamb.
A busy conduit from entry to living room, it nevertheless makes a natural dining area, because a leafy courtyard is accessed through sliding doors. The duo kept the palette neutral — and soothing — and amped up the texture, placing a rush-fronted sideboard against a paneled wall and hanging a String pendant light from Nickey Kehoe over a marble-topped table from Croft House.
Their favorite find? The vintage Erik Buch dining chairs, all the sculpture this newly intimate space needs.
