In The Spirits: Design-Inspired Cocktails from Haven’s Kitchen

Things we love: beautiful antique and vintage furniture.

Things we really love: beautiful antique and vintage furniture enjoyed alongside exquisitely crafted cocktails.

Now that it’s finally warm enough to linger over a great drink, we asked Ali Cayne, founder of the jaw-droppingly gorgeous cafe, culinary school, and event space Haven’s Kitchen, to craft a mixology menu worthy of our one-of-a-kind inventory. Ali’s top-notch aesthetic sensibility—see her incredible West Village home here—is matched only by her top-shelf taste in libations. After selecting a few of her favorite items from 1stdibs, Ali and the Haven’s Kitchen team came up with bespoke cocktails that distilled—pardoned the pun—the essence of each piece into an elegant drink.

Read on to see her recipes for a few drinks-by-design. We can certainly say cheers to that.
