The prevalence of these glamorous accessories at the Globes is testament to their dramatic élan. This was beautifully exemplified by Janelle James, Cristin Milioti and Pamela Anderson, who wore black gloves with matching black dresses with undeniably elegant silhouettes.
Black was the color of choice for most celebrities. Ali Wong and Kerry Washington paired their hand wear with funkier, brightly colored Balenciaga gowns. In these more energetic ensembles, the gloves provided a grounded counterpoint to the dresses, with their eye-catching volume and texture.
