"Mario SAFE my GUCCI ass" Mixed media Painting 37" x 48" in by John Paul Fauves
By John Paul Fauves
Located in Culver City, CA
"Mario SAFE my GUCCI ass" Mixed media Painting 37" x 48" in by John Paul Fauves 2017 Mixed media, acrylic and oil on canvas 37" × 48" inch From GUCCI in Wonderland series GUCCI in Wonderland series contains two parts. First one, GUCCI in wonderland, is an inspiration that came to John Paul Fauves after doing a 10 piece collection of some Alessandro Michele art campaigns. There was so much magic realism in the GUCCI brand and concept that transcended from being a clothing label to something more surreal. It is here when the artist decides to give a hold to his new collection for 2018 named "holy exit" and dive into this new world of colors and wonders. The second part, Alice in Wonderland, represents the artist a world of fantasy and dreams. It seems as if the author Lewis Caroll could write like a dream. The same concept of surrealism is what FAUVES feels about Gucci design and branding. It as if Gucci can design and create form the world of dreams, and this is what the artist wants to represent in his art GUCCI in wonderland. ABOUT John Paul FAUVES: John Paul Fauves (born in 1980) is a contemporary Artist from Costa Rica . His artistic journey started at a very young age after he became a student of Joaquin Rodriguez del Paso , one of the most important Costa Rican modern art tutors. John Paul spent 15 years studying and mastering his technique, and only a few years ago he finally started showcasing his work. In his paintings he engages questions of identity as they relate to art history as well as our everyday interactions with mainstream culture and social media. Greatly inspired by modernist masters as wellas pop-artists, Fauves mixes fragments of different iconic images in vivid and colourful compositions. Of his experimental and high eclectic style, he says, “art is an expression from the soul, and the soul is somethinglimitless. This is why I am always searching for different elements to bring into the work.” 2019: Alts Iz farloyrn, Los Angeles, CA Portraits of Someone, London 2018: [ Mi / Me ] solo exhibition at DOPENESS ART LAB, Taipei, Taiwan Arte de La Peer Papi Chulo group exhibition, Krause gallery, NYC Down the Rabbit Hole group exhibition, Imitate London, London, UK ARCO Madrid Art Palm Beach, Miami 2017: Art Basel Miami PIXELS Pre-Basel group exhibition by JM Art Management at Laurent & Martin gallery LA Style Fashion week FACES, group exhibition by JM Art Management at HOMME gallery A Loss of Innocence, solo exhibition Guy Hepner...

"I AM A BABY" Mixed media Painting 62x54 inch by John Paul Fauves
By John Paul Fauves
Located in Culver City, CA
"I AM A BABY" Mixed media Painting 62x54 inch by John Paul Fauves From "Alts iz farloyrn" ("All is lost") series 2019 Mixed media, acrylic and oil on canvas 62" × 54" inch "Alts iz farloyrn" ("All is lost") "Alts iz Farloyrn” – the latest series by John Paul Fauves featuring large-scale mixed media paintings, sculptures, and his famous art masks. Inspired by American idols James Dean and Steve McQueen, "Alts iz Farloyrn,” which translates to "All is Lost," was Steve McQueen’s first ever line on stage and represents Fauves own struggle with losing it all yet discovering his true self. “Alts iz Farloyrn” dives deep into the darkness that surrounded James Dean and Steve McQueen and explores their need to live fast. Through this new series, viewers are reminded that although both men overcame challenges to become the Hollywood elite, they struggled to mentally escape their troubled childhood and demons. Recognized internationally for his Neo-Pop Expressionism, Fauves paintings deal with identity through art, mainstream culture and social media. About this series, Fauves says “I have personally lost it all and what I’ve learned is when you lose it all you can win it all again and create a new beginning!” ABOUT John Paul FAUVES: John Paul Fauves (born in 1980) is a contemporary Artist from Costa Rica . "Stimulus II" Painting 39" x 47" inch by Ahmed Gaafary
By Ahmed Gaafary
Located in Culver City, CA
"Stimulus II" Painting 39" x 47" inch by Ahmed Gaafary Nabokov’s Signs Ahmed Gaafary takes Vladimir Nabokov’s phenomenal short story “On Signs and Symbols” as an instigator to series of large and medium scale paintings. The fictitious characters in Nabokov’s narrative who act mysteriously around the banal pseudo conflict that faces an urban family –that could be any of us—is transcribed and encrypted by Gaafary on canvas, where lines define accurately shapes and forms that are in themselves flexible and not geometrical. Areas of almost solid colors represent in a diversity of tones and hues the psychological changes that happen to Nabokov’s protagonists in a very well defined space and time. Gaafary’s signs and symbols on another layer resembles mystic ciphers and codes, much reminiscent of Jean Baudrillard’s post-structuralist essays about the subject, in particular his texts addressing mediation, mass communication and the logic of contemporary symbolic exchange inspired and influenced by anthropologist Marcel Mauss and the Canadian philosopher of communication Marshall McLuhan’s work about the nature of social relations determined by the forms of communication that any given society adopts. Ahmed Gaafary navigates his viewers through realms of personal symbols and signs of a personal narrative. Born In Cairo 1987 Where He Currently Lives And Works. He Received His Bachelor’s Degree In Information Systems In 2008 From The Higher Institute Of Advanced Studies And Followed The Evening Classes (Painting Department)Of Fine Arts Faculty, Helwan University From 2005 To 2007. After His Graduation as an Information System Engineer, He Gave Up His Engineer Practices And Decided To Be An Independent Visual Artist. Located in Culver City, CA
"Abstract Script" Ink on Fabric Painting 51" x 45" inch by Mohamed Monaiseer Trinity series (2015) In this work, I am a developing personal philosophy of the trinity—the uniting of three in one. The trinity consists of Energy, Nature, and Source. Energy is located in the heart, where faith and belief originate. The Source is anything that creates: God, the mind, the sun. Nature is material, offering us the tools to make and destroy. The three principles connect, communicate and converse with one another to form the ecosystem in which the human being lives, breathes and works, dependent on the interplay between the elements. The trinity is the value of life. Mohamed Monaiseer (b. Cairo, Egpyt 1989) gives body and form to immaterial phenomena with works of drawing and painting. He has exhibited in many galleries and culture spaces throughout Egypt, and was a prizewinner in the 25th Youth Salon at the Cairo Opera House. He has presented solo exhibitions at Gezira Art Center (2013) and Safarkhan Gallery (2014) in Cairo. In 2015, his work was featured in a group exhibition in Stockholm and a travelling exhibition in Europe and the US. Monaiseer earned his degree in Educational Art from Cairo University...

"Fragmented Page II" Ink on Fabric Painting 11" x 8" inch by Mohamed Monaiseer * Due to the Ministry of Culture policy, handling time (paperwork) may take up to 2-3 weeks. Barzakh series (2015) The language of mythology and religion, Barzakh is what separates life after death and before resurrection. For others, it’s the grave. In geography, it is what separates the sweet rivers from the salty seas, without their mixing. Barzakh is the dream that separates sleep from vigilance; the soul that separates body from the mind; and, the human that separates existence from nothingness. If two things connect, then separation is not absolute. Barzakh allows transit, like a mirror between the body and its image. Mohamed Monaiseer (b. "Selling Hope" Oil on Paper painting 30" x 39" inch by Patricio Gonzalez
By Patricio Gonzalez
Located in Culver City, CA
"Selling Hope" Oil on Paper painting 30" x 39" inch by Patricio Gonzalez From "Looking for Happiness" series LOOKING FOR HAPPINESS Like "el dorado", a cultural construction, a myth, the Looking for happiness series talks about the illusion of happiness. Using coordinates between different geographical points and world views, seeking to generate a dialogue between stories. In this way, places speak to tell us about degraded utopias, religious crusades, martyrs and oppressors, wars, victories, and defeats. All searches for what cannot be found. The infinite existing possibilities, in this continuous present and its accumulation, to be history. The utopian idea of achieving completeness or completeness. The transformation of the fabric into jewelry, the transmutation that moves from the sacred to the economic. The "object of desire" is the engine of life and its different permutations. Curriculum vitae Born on February 14, 1974, Santiago, Chile. Study at the School of Fine Arts of t he University of Chile and the University Complutense Hotels guest, Spain. He also attended workshops in painting, drawing and engraving the Circulo de Bellas Artes in Madrid. Work in the study of Guillermo Muñoz Vera, Madrid. "GRADIENT_02" Abstract Acrylic painting 39" x 33" by DOT ABOUT THE ARTIST: By compiling concepts from multiple philosophies, DOT’s Art seeks to explore an idea that has developed from different roots. Through the use of repeating geometric patterns enhanced by different color theories. A hallucinatory visual field is created. Thus forcing the viewer's perspective to be pushed into a moment of visual confusion. According to theories in Neuroplasticity, these perspective shifts are catalysts that have the potential to rewire neural pathways and ultimately affect thinking and behavior. Being self-taught DOT leaned into his understanding of scientific concepts and techniques to develop his artistic explorations. In his most recent body of work, a surgical repetition of shifting color fields reflects his curiosities in the space of visual perception. These lines tend to create a static movement...

"Tiger Skin" mixed media painting 58"x46 in by John Paul Fauves

"Tiger Skin" mixed media painting 58"x46 in by John Paul Fauves 2018 ABOUT John Paul FAUVES: John Paul Fauves (born in 1980) is a contemporary Artist from Costa Rica .
