Vintage Angela Cummings Gold Cufflinks
By Angela Cummings
Located in Beverly Hills, CA
A pair of 18k gold cufflinks by Angela Cummings, designed as classic button cufflinks with Cummings' signature organic approach. The tops looks like buttons covered with fabric. The gold perfectly imitates fabric folds. These Angela Cummings cufflinks are high-polished gold which makes them look great either with your black tie attire or as a dressy option for a business suite. About Angela Cummings brand Angela Cummings is one of the most prominent fine jewelry designers and women jewelry designers. Many of her famous designs were inspired by nature and by three-dimensional art of sculpture. Even though she grew up in the USA, Angela Cummings received her art and jewelry education in Europe. She studied painting in Italy and gemology and goldsmith in Germany. When she came back to the United States late in 1960s, she was right away hired by Tiffany & Co. and became Tiffany’s in-house designer. In 1974, she was the first woman who had a named collection, “Angela Cummings Exclusively for Tiffany & Co.” Soon after that Tiffany created named collections by Elsa Peretti and Paloma Picasso. In the 1970s and 1980s, Angela Cummings created her distinctive inlaid designs with semiprecious stones such as coral, jade, lapis lazuli, jasper and organic mother of pearl that she became famous for. Nowadays, these designs are highly sought after and very collectable. What made Angela Cummings’s designs recognizable are the sensuous gracefulness, deep inspiration by nature and natural forms and biomorphic use of precious metals. Angela Cummings retired in 2003. She moved to Utah to enjoy spending more time with her family. Angela Cummings jewelry features gemstone jewelry, diamond jewelry and precious metal jewelry including platinum jewelry and gold jewelry. Vintage Diamond Platinum Three-Stone Ring Estate Jewelry
Located in Beverly Hills, CA
A gorgeous vintage three-stone diamond ring, made in platinum. This three-stone ring features an emerald cut diamond flanked by two round brilliant cut diamonds. The center diamond is four-prong set, and the side diamonds are three-prong set. The ring has a unique head and gallery design made of platinum and tiny yellow gold wires. It looks airy and lacy, yet the platinum prongs provide solid hold for the diamonds. The shank is beautifully decorated with leafy motif engraving. Elegant, timeless and feminine, the ring works as a gorgeous engagement ring or anniversary ring. Made of platinum, the ring features an emerald cut diamond flanked by two round brilliant cut diamonds. The center emerald cut diamond measures 9.88 x 7.42 x 4.50 mm and weighs approximately 2.90-carat (calculated by the formula). It is of P color and VVS2 clarity. Each side round brilliant cut diamond is approximately 0.40-carat, I color, VS1 clarity. Diamond total weight is approximately 3.70 carats. The ring is size 6, and can be resized. The diamond part of this vintage ring measures 5/8" x 3/8" (1.6 x 1 centimeters). The ring weighs 10.7 grams. The ring is stamped with a maker's mark CTI and hallmark for platinum. About Platinum Jewelry: Purity and durability – these two characteristics define platinum from the rest of the precious metals. From the chemical perspective, platinum is one of the most stable elements. The white color of platinum comes from its purity. While white gold contains an alloy of zinc, copper and nickel, platinum has a pure 95-98% composition. In fact, white gold is yellow gold mixed with other metals and then rhodium plated. Platinum is durable and denser than gold. Platinum jewelry lasts for ages and can be passed down from generation to generation. Platinum’s purity and strength make it relevant to the idea of eternal love. It’s an embodiment of strong feelings and rarity. That’s why platinum engagement rings and platinum wedding bands have been popular ever since. Platinum is also a symbol of status and reputation. It looks subtle and not as obvious as yellow gold. Gemstones set in platinum are not distracting because of the metal’s neutral appearance. The color, brilliance and vibrance of diamonds and colored stones are amplified next to platinum “true white”. About Vintage Jewelry: Vintage jewelry is something we can talk about for days. Since the subject is that big and has multiple aspects to discuss, we’d like to focus on the most important parts of it. So, what is vintage...

By Boucheron
Located in Beverly Hills, CA
An exquisite Boucheron bracelet made of 18 karat white gold and diamond. This spectacular bracelet has a unique, outstanding design. It comprises of ten flexible gold and diamond strings running towards each other. The strings meet in the middle, creating a layered loop crafted as a stylized drop. This white gold and diamond bracelet is a fascinating piece, airy and substantially sparkly at the same time. The central element creates an amazing effect of the diamonds floating above the wrist. This Boucheron bracelet measures 6 ¾” x 1 ½” (17.5 x 3.8 cm) and weighs 90.3 grams. The bracelet is stamped with the Boucheron maker's marks, hallmarks for 18k gold, serial number. About Estate Jewelry: Buying jewelry online might be challenging. The quality of the making has not gotten better over the time while the design is getting more and more generic. Add ever rising prices and you could end up with not finding anything suitable. To purchase a high-quality jewelry piece for an obtainable price consider buying estate items. • Quality vs Quantity Estate pieces mostly belong to the times when jewels were handmade and not mass produced. There were simply less jewelry makers at that time and they cared about their reputation. Opposed to the current fast fashion approach, life pace was in general slower. That allowed makers to take more time to craft truly quality pieces. • Fair-Priced vs Overpriced Designer pieces aka signed pieces can cost multiple times more than their unsigned equivalents. We pay not only for an item itself but also for the brand advertising campaigns and all the buzz the name is creating. Prices for estate jewelry form differently and mostly depend on the cost paid by a seller. A pre-owned Bulgari ring and a brand-new Bulgari ring have a very appealing price difference. Ask your local jewelry store about a retail price of the desired piece and you’d be pleasantly surprised. • True value vs Seasonal rush Pre-owned jewelry retains its value. Over the time it gets rare and more expensive. Think purchasing a new car that loses its value right after you left your dealer versus buying a vintage vehicle. At Nadine Krakov Collection...

Cartier by Cipullo Love Bracelet
By Aldo Cipullo for Cartier
Located in Beverly Hills, CA
Being a symbol of commitment, a Love bracelet was designed as a minimalistic piece in 1969 and was bound to become iconic. The Cartier Love bracelet is supposed to be put on by someone who mutually loves you. Two screws on both sides hold the bracelet together to represent locked in feelings.  The gold Love bracelet looks very neat. It has a perfect width, it's shiny yet classic and elegant. It's a perfect Cartier bracelet that suits anyone's taste.  This particular Love bracelet is signed by Love bracelet designer Aldo Cipullo. It's from 1970s and that's why it has both signatures, the Cartier and Cipullo. This Love bracelet is size 19 (will fit up to 7" wrist). Comes with a screwdriver. About Aldo Cipullo Aldo Cipullo is mostly known as a creator of the famous Cartier Love bracelet. However, he designed several iconic pieces, and his talent was appreciated by David Webb and Tiffany & Co. His father was a costume jewelry maker, and Aldo worked as an apprentice at one of his workshops. But Cipullo’s ambition went further than Italy where he was born. After he turned 23, he moved to New York to study at The School of Visual Arts. In 1969 Aldo Cipullo started to work for Cartier, and his glorious journey began. Very soon after Cipullo came up with the idea of Cartier Love bracelet. The new design made a big splash in the jewelry world. It was a completely new perspective of the classic look. There is a story behind creating Love bracelet. It says Cipullo was heartbroken at that time after a failed love affair. He wanted to lock in his memories as it was all he had left. Being fascinated by industrial features of New York City and all things hardware, he drew his first draft of the bracelet. Another emblematic piece by Cipullo called Juste en Clou (Just a Nail) came up in 1971. The minimalist, wrapped around nail-looking gold bracelet was a great success. Today the yellow gold, rose gold and white gold Cartier Nail...

Victorian jewelry is dated from 1837 to 1901. The era’s name was inherited from Queen Victoria who reigned during that time. Her significant input shaped the jewelry style of that time. To navigate in such a vast period, historians divide it into following parts: • The Early Victorian or Romantic • The Middle of Grand Victorian • The Late or Aesthetic Victorian Era Different materials, gemstones and techniques were popular specifically for each era. Some styles though remained in favor longer than during just one period. For instance, hair jewelry made its way through Romantic to Grand period. Snake and animal motifs were also in demand throughout the era. • Early Victorian jewelry As to the Queen influence, Romantic Period jewelry had well pronounced sentimental vibes. It was the time when young Queen Victoria was in love with her husband, Prince Albert. And the whole nation admired their relationship. Cameos, matching brooches, miniature portraits and lockets reflected the likeness of loved ones. After Albert’s passing in 1861, the Early Victorian Period ended, and The Grand era began. • Grand Victorian jewelry After the incandescent bulb invention in 1870s, diamond jewelry started thriving like never before. Diamonds, being placed under the electric light, revealed their dazzling nature and looked truly fascinating. Besides Victorian diamond jewelry...

Some brooches could be worn as pendants, so you get two pieces in one. A brooch is an amazing jewel that is fun, elegant and expressive at the same time. French vintage brooches are even more special to us. Being famous for its extraordinary craftsmanship, each French maker has their own recognizable take on it. Either it’s a prestigious Cartier or Van Cleef & Arpels or non-branded French brooch, we appreciate its sophisticated beauty and exquisite quality. One of our all-time favorites is a dress clip. The design came from 1920s and since then has been appreciated by the jewelry lovers for versatility and original look it provides to any style. Choose and pin down your own fabulous version of a Vintage French brooch.
