About the Item

Sharing with you this lovely and unusal Kutani porcelain footed bowl. The bowl has a lobed rim and central scene of a two birds on a branch. The ribbed curve with wickerwork and wave motifs. Beautiful colors and very nicely painted. Base marked with a Fuku mark. This piece was auctioned in 1984 by Sotheby's in Amsterdam, and described in their auction catalogue. See pictures. Condition Close to perfect, just some crackle lines and some fleebites on the rim, which is common on these pieces.
