About the Item
This meticulously crafted Chinese porcelain vase is an exemplary piece of Qing style BW, adorned in underglaze blue and white. The vase assumes a classic bottle form, subtly enhanced by a slightly outward flaring mouth rim.
The central design features three distinct groups of fruits—pomegranate, finger citron, and peach—each symbolizing different virtues such as fertility, longevity, and prosperity. The fruits are rendered with a high level of detail, attesting to the artisan's skill.
Adding layers of complexity are the detailed borders that encircle the vase just below the mouth rim and above the footring. These borders serve as elegant frames that accentuate the central motif.
The vase bears an apocryphal vertical six-character Kaishu script mark for Yongzheng, enclosed within double circle marks at the base. Adding to its allure, the vase comes with a matching carved hardwood stand, elevating its presentation and aesthetic appeal.
