About the Item
A pair of Chinese export famille rose porcelain dishes. Wonderfully decorated with a band of ducks and other birds amongst floral motifs around the rim. A band of gilt finished trefoil forms distinguishes the outer band with the inner reserve which depicts a crane amongst wonderfully decorated peonies and other fauna with an architectural gate.
Condition: One is in As Is condition having been completely repaired and restored with spray to conceal the repairs but has been nicely repaired as it is not distinct without full examination. The other in good form. Both have repairs, wear and losses to the enamel decoration and nics to the rim. See lot images for further visual inspection as they are considered part of the lot condition report. Despite wear the pair presents fantastically.
