About the Item

A wonderful Joseon Dynasty (1392-1897) Korean pottery bowl - perhaps a monk's Chawan tea bowl. The work features a beautiful white glaze, wonderful organic shape, engaging design and nicely aged patina. As this is not our area of expertise, we are listing it simply as 19th century but it could very well be much older - perhaps 17th or 18th century. Would be a great addition to any Korean or Asian art pottery collection or an eye-catching stand-alone accent piece in about any setting. Dimensions: 2.5" high, 5.6" wide, 5.6" deep.
