Description Lovely and detailed group of satsuma ware with landscape scene with quails. Toothpick holder, circular dish, small dish and lidded jar. Condition Overall Condition Toothpick holder 1 smal chip to rim with small line and some frits to base rim. Small dish perfect. Lidded jar 2 small chips and some frits to base rim. Tray Perfect. Size small Period 20th century.

A fine and elegant Japanese Satsuma tripod incense burner, koro, with pierced metal lid, signed Eizan (?) Meiji Period, late 19th century, Japan. The koro, or censer, features a stoneware body of slightly compressed globular form, supported on three short and squat legs. The wide mouth with a recessed metal rim, and topped by an openwork metal lid topped with overlapping chrysanthemum blossoms of silver repousse.
