Sharing with you this lovely and unusual Chinese porcelain incense container from the late Ming period, Tianqi period most probably. Jingdezhen made for the Japanese market. In the shape of a wicker basket, with design of landscape and people on top of the lid and simple floral pattern in repeat on the sides. Similar piece in the Itsu-o Fine arts Museum collection. See pictures. Storage box included. Origin: China⁠ ⁠Age; early 17th century⁠ Size; 4.8x3.5x3.7CM⁠ ⁠ Condition fritting and lid has been kintsugi restored.
