A Pair of Chinese Cloisonne Baluster Vases, Late 19th Century
Each of baluster form with an everted lip and trumpet neck descending to broad shoulders and a flared base, the enamelwork with a black background, various yellow and polychrome taotie masks and both the upper lip and shoulder with blue plantain banding centred by further alternating taotie masks of conforming motif, stamped base.
