A Pair of Chinese Cloisonne Baluster Vases, Late 19th Century Each of baluster form with an everted lip and trumpet neck descending to broad shoulders and a flared base, the enamelwork with a black background, various yellow and polychrome taotie masks and both the upper lip and shoulder with blue plantain banding centred by further alternating taotie masks of conforming motif, stamped base. Height: 51.5cm Diameter of Mouth Rim: 26.5cm Provenance: Private Australian Collection.
