About the Item
Antique Japanese Medicine "Kanban" (Shop Sign) with mirror, Meiji Period.
The Medicine being advertised is a soothing cream used to relieve itchiness. The Mizuno Company made it for the store named Kurono. The other inscription is the registration No. 33665.
This wonderful piece was carved in wood, then painted and lacquered; some of the lacquer has worn off near the bottom.
