Japanese Fine Pair Arts And Crafts Shoji Door Screens

About the Item

Japan, a fine pair of two simple shoji bamboo doors or screens creating an arts and crafts look. The pair are hinged together for convenient display with attractive portals above; however the hinges may be easily removed to create two stand alone sliding shoji doors. These were recently acquired from a Japanese private collect Hand selected, they are in fine condition and are ready for immediate display and installation. Shoji aren’t just doors- they are considered to be fine furniture and fine wall art. When each sliding door is closed, they softly diffuse light through out your house. These beautiful high quality screens may be used as sliders in your favourite room, as room dividers, or hung as wall art displays. They are in good gently used condition.
