Serene Japanese Showa period two panel byobu screen featuring two ducks and kingfisher in a late fall/early winter landscape. Crafted with ink and natural pigment colors on hand-crafted paper. The painting is set in a black ebonized frame with a decorative gold silk brocade border. Painted in the Nihonga School style with intricate brushwork and vibrant colors. Beautifully aged patina from an estate in San Francisco, CA. Purchased from Imari Inc, Sausalito, CA.
