About the Item

Impressive large scale Japanese Showa period four panel byobu screen depicting a serene snowy winter landscape with willow, prunus, and bamboo. The screen features an amazing background of gold leaf clouds and gold leaf specks. Vibrant ink and natural color pigments on mulberry paper crafted in the Nihonga school style.
