Vintage Chinese Porcelain Horses Pattern Brush Pot. Chinese exquisite horse pattern porcelain vase, Chinese Qing Dynasty crackle glaze ceramic brush pot. The circular ceramic pot is decorated with red, gray and orange colored horses which stood for 'strength' in the Chinese culture and Chinese writing There is a band of Chinese calligraphy writing along the rim and half loops around the bottom. The drawing work is well done with bright cheerful colors. The brush pot is 5" tall with a 4 1/2" diameter. Chinese scholar's porcelain and pottery brush pots are exquisite and functional objects that have long been used by scholars and artists in China.
