About the Item
This is a wooden Buddha statue made around the Edo period in Japan.
Although it is a small Buddha statue, it has a strong presence and is beautiful.
Originally, there was a wooden pedestal, but these have been lost and only the main body of the Buddha statue remains today.
Also, part of his left wrist is missing.
Then, I combined the base of an old semicircular lotus pattern sculpture.
Now you can display it on the wall, or since it can stand on its own, you can also display it on a shelf or table.
This base is also from the Edo period. It's cool.
Also, the deity of this Buddha statue is Tathagata.
It is the highest Buddhist statue in Buddhism.
It is a very precious existence that saves the lives of many people.
A wooden storage box is also included.
