About the Item

A 1950s Italian jardinière attributed to Cesare Lacca, a celebrated designer known for his refined mid‑century furniture and lighting. This exceptional piece features a perforated brass basket with an intricate looped motif on splayed tripod legs in solid teak accented with brass details. The combination of warm teak, brass, and perforated metalwork embodies the sophistication and craftsmanship of mid‑century Italian design. Perfect for showcasing plants, floral arrangements, or as a decorative piece. ------------------- We are an exhibition space and an online destination established by the passionate art director behind Jonathan Amar Studio. Our gallery presents a harmonious mix of iconic and engaging 20th-century pieces and bespoke contemporary lighting. With a strong focus on Italian mid-century designs, his success strives from sourcing designs with striking shapes, creative techniques, and interesting materials that cross the concept of time in the same way a Spirit does.
