Stephanie Kalan Studio Pottery Handcrafted Brutalist Sculptural Bowl

About
A stylish Brutalist sculptural form Studio Pottery open work bowl by Stephanie Kalan (1909-1978) probably dating 1953-1978. The bowl of triangular shape stands raised on three integral pointed short legs and has a raised uneven rim thickly glazed in blue and brown mottled glazes with heaping and piling in places. The bowl is signed S KALAN to the base. One of three similar constructed pieces we are offering.
Offered in good condition with a couple of rough elements to the surface inside the bowl.
