About the Item
Huge Mid-century Danish ceramic floor vase by Fridtjof Sejersen for Sejer ceramic studio. Made ca 1960s to 1970s. It´s made in his own studio workshop in Nr. Aaby on the Danish island Funen which he ran from 1941 to 1978.
The vase has an interesting glaze in dark blue grey fading to a more pale blue and features a hand-carved abstract decor accentuated with a pale glaze. The vase is made with chamotte clay which adds a rustic expression.
The vase is handmarked on bottom: Sejer Unic Danmark
The vase is in very good vintage condition. No chips, cracks or repairs.
