About the Item

The classic sterling silver Louvre bowl. Made by Georg Jensen in Copenhagen. Round and curved; rim flat with alternating scrolls and scallops; raised and stepped foot. The open support with beaded leaves and tendrils reflects the stylized naturalism that predominated in the early years. Visible hand hammering.
