About the Item

A heavy sterling silver Georg Jensen Art Deco bowl, design #259 by Gundorph Albertus from 1925. A conical-shaped, hand-hammered bowl with a hand-chased shell motif on the midsection. The lower midsection features a series of rings separated by oxidized silver sections. The round raised foot is hand-hammered. This piece is an ideal piece for chocolates or sweets. Specifications: Dimensions: Stands 4 1/4" (10.5 cm) tall with a diameter of 5 3/4" (14.5 cm). Weight: 294 grams (10.37 oz). Hallmarks: Vintage Georg Jensen hallmarks from 1945-1972. All of our pieces have been professionally polished by our Georg Jensen trained silversmith.
