About the Item

An early antique 830 sterling silver bonbonniere by Georg Jensen, design #186 from 1918. It features a handcrafted oval lidded bonbon with intricate hand chasing throughout. The feet are adorned with a hand-chased floral design and are hollow, not casted. The slightly hammered oval body showcases a series of oxidized Nordic design lines. The dome-shaped lid fits perfectly, adorned with a large floral bulb. - Dimensions: 3½ inches high by 4½ inches wide by 3½ inches deep (9 × 11 × 9 cm) - Gross weight: Approximately 260 grams (9.1 ounces) - Antique Georg Jensen hallmarks and a date stamp for 1920, indicating 830s silver. All our items have been professionally polished by our Georg Jensen trained silversmith and are in excellent vintage condition.
