A fabulously impressive later matched 19th century High Victorian sculptural pink and white art glass fancy bowl with ruffle crimped scalloped edge and waved form, resting on a fine quality antique American quadruple silver plate white metal stand by E.G. Webster & Son Silver Co. NY, New York. circa 1890 The exquisitely crafted centerpiece features elegant swooping openwork handles with flower and foliate embellishments, ending in angled candlestick holders, over circular platform base, rising on four richly detailed feet. Signed, hallmarked to verso: "E. G. Webster & Son; Quadruple Silver Plate White Hard Metal" around circular makers mark, over "97" Dimensions: 14” W x 8” H x 14” D Great antique condition with nicely aged patina. The base and bowl not original to each other. Not a fitted pair, later matched. Art glass apparently unsigned. The silverplate is patinated, tarnished. Would likely polish nicely.
