About the Item
A Superb Antique English Sheffield Silver Plate Four-Tube Floral Epergne Centerpiece. The tubes are removable and the base and each tube has a handsome applied "egg & bead" border. The stand is hand-wrought with lovely scrollwork. These floral epergnes take little more than a bunch of store bought flowers (or silk flowers) to look magnificent in the center of a table or in an entrance foyer, on a chest or just about anywhere. The base has maker's marks on base for C.W. Fletcher & Sons (Sheffield).
