Exceptional Antique English W & H Silverplate and Hand Engraved Crystal Epergne
About the Item
An Extraordinary Large Size Antique English Sheffield Silver Plate and Hand Engraved Crystal Epergne Centerpiece with maker's marks under the base for the highly collected Royal Warranted silversmiths, Walker & Hall (Sheffield and London). The upper flat crystal dish and the three trumpet shape tubes are all original and superbly hand engraved. The upper dish is typically used for fresh fruit while the trumpet shape crystal tubes can be used for fresh or silk flowers. The stand is very heavy and durable. Quite an important size and make a statement. In pristine, age-appropriate condition with no plate loss or damage to any of the crystal components.
