About the Item

This fine set consists of a saucer, teacup and coffee cup. All pieces are richly hand painted with a dark royal blue ground. Three panels on each piece are beautifully hand painted with delicately detailed white roses with stems and leaves, boarded with fine foliate gilding. The cups are internally decorated which is much more difficult to paint than traditional external decoration. English, circa 1811 – 20, pattern number 2/ 132. All three pieces are in good condition with no restoration. Measurements are Saucer height 3 cm width 15 cm depth 15 cm Teacup height 6 cm width 11.5 cm depth 9 cm Coffee cup height 7.5 cm width 9.5 cm depth 7.5 cm. A Fine Early 19th C English Davenport Dish, Circa 1835 A rare William IIII period Davenport porcelain kidney shaped dish raised up on to three foliate and scrolled feet. This fine piece has a shaped and pierced edge with raised and moulded flower heads and acanthus scrolls around it.
