About the Item

Rare Goldscheider Vienna ceramic figurine of the 1920s: Pierrette with a pageboy head in a colourful costume with a multi-layered balloon skirt reminiscent of a pine cone, standing bent forward and holding her hands together behind her back with her palms turned outwards, a green pointed hat matching her shoes standing next to her on the ground. The figure is based on a cream-coloured, stepped round base. Designed by Josef LORENZL (1892 - 1950), was an Austrian sculptor and ceramic modeler.
