A Very Nice French Faience Hand Painted Legume container with fountain, Strasburg manufacture
Beautiful Legume container with fountain in Faince or French Mayolique, hand painted, Luneville Strasburg manufacture, following 18th century models.
SXX, 60s, floral decoration with cartouches of floral bouquets representing the Luxembourg rose as the protagonist accompanied by small yellow and blue flowers and entangled with scrolls following the baroque spirit. The finish on the lid is a couple of legumes in yellow and mauve color
Magenta pink, green yellow and blue colors on white complete this exquisite piece of earthenware.
It is in very good condition for its use and time.
A magnificent piece for personal enjoyment or for a wonderful gift
There is a matching Tureen with lid , it could be Sold separately.
Comes from a French collection in the north of France.
