Dating to the French Restoration period, this transfer-printed plate is glazed in the distinctive brilliant canary yellow for which the Creil and Monterau potteries were known. Printed in the neoclassic style, the image shows two women and a young girl walking together in a romantic landscape, in front of a house with a thatched roof.
