Early Bohemian Crackle Glass Moser Two Handled Enamel Vase, 1885

About the Item

Fabulous good sized early Moser Crackle glass vase in rich brown colour heavily and finely enamelled with foliage of various kinds in greens and purples on both sides of the vase -The vase has two hot applied handles which are also enamelled with a stylised dot pattern. This style of crackle glass was pretty much created by Moser and was very popular in the late Victorian period -they are rarely seen today. Moser is one of the greatest Bohemian glass makers of all time and in 2017 celebrated its 160th anniversary. Please note the last picture shows the vase with two other Moser vases -these two are not included in this sale - however they are available on another listing -please see our other items
